Having gone to high school with Brian, Michael had knowledge about the direction of Fellowship before it’s inception. Michael graduated college in 2002 and went right into mortgages. From 2002 to 2008 he managed an office with 15 loan officers working below him. When Mike and Brian eventually created the current branch of Fellowship, he was on board to help.

“It was what they were doing, how they were creating a brand that caters to a clientele I enjoy working with. This group supports the faith-based community, people that are honest and hardworking homeowners. In the mortgage industry, a lot of people are trying to make a quick buck by flipping homes or buying as many homes as possible. I find working for this community so enjoyable on a daily basis. Not only are they working with everyone’s ideal interest in mind, but also to help anyone who crosses their path.”

Being a family man himself, Michael knows about the difficulty for first time homeowners, or people needing to refinance. With two young daughters, Michael and his wife just celebrated their 5th anniversary. Outside of work, he is usually with his family, going to the beach, golfing, or watching the Mets and the Giants. He brings the same kind of quality attention that is reserved for his family to his clients at work, ensuring they are treated with respect and care:

“My work ethic and the amount of time I put into every application is a highlight, as well as how I listen and truly put the clients ideal interests above anything else. My clients are everything for me, so whatever I can do to help them, is what I am going to do. Whether that’s helping get a mortgage done or turning them away to look for an alternative option if I feel we are not the ideal course. I treat every conversation like I would want to be treated if I were on the other end of the phone.”
